ARC-Lifeguarding

Purpose: To teach lifeguard candidates the skills and knowledge needed to recognize, prevent, and respond quickly and effectively to aquatic emergencies and prevent drownings and injuries. Upon successful completion, participants will receive American Red Cross lifeguarding, CPR w/AED, and first aid certificates. Prerequisites: Minimum age of 15 years on/by the last class session. Participants must be able to pass a swimming pretest on the first day including a 300-yard non-stop swim.
