Special Olympics Minnesota
Participants Ages 8 and up
MN Softball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams. Every team aims in scoring as many runs possible, against the opponents by striking the ball with a specific bat. Pitches in softball are thrown underhand. Previous experience playing adaptive softball is helpful, as players should have basic knowledge of the sport without one-on-one support. This will be coach pitch or unified teams.
Participants will be placed in a division by the Special Olympics Minnesota, based on ability level and age to give them a competitive experience.
Additional paperwork is required in order to participate in this sport. The Head of Delegation will reach out to athletes after registration with these forms.
