T-Shirt Yarn Making Workshop

Give old t-shirts new life in this fun and creative one-hour adult enrichment class! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to transform unused or worn t-shirts into soft, reusable yarn perfect for crafting, home projects, and sustainable DIY creations.

You’ll learn simple cutting techniques, how to create continuous yarn strands, and tips for preparing yarn suitable for crocheting, knitting, weaving, or decorative projects. No prior crafting experience is needed — this class is beginner-friendly and focused on creativity, sustainability, and practical skills you can use at home.

Participants are encouraged to bring 2–3 clean t-shirts (cotton works best) to repurpose during class. Leave with your own handmade t-shirt yarn and inspiration for future projects!
