Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience. Instructor Kirsten: A champion of cookware who enjoys teaching Instant Pot/air fryer classes from her kitchen with dogs underfoot, Kirsten spends days creating beautiful food sustainably and helping fight food insecurity at Chowgirls Catering. She has been eating with local intention and sharing how to make the most of the farm share via her website Farm Fresh Feasts for more than 10 years.

Sarah Erickson Babysitting Basics Course (Ages 11–15) Participants must be at least 11 years old by the date of the class. Gain the skills and confidence you need to become a trusted babysitter in your neighborhood! This fun, hands-on 4-hour course is designed for youth ages 11–15 and focuses on safety, responsibility, and professionalism. What you’ll learn: How to care for infants and children, including feeding, handling, and diapering Basic first aid and safety practices Understanding child behavior Fun and age-appropriate activity ideas Emergency procedures and how to respond Leadership and communication skills Tips on starting and growing your babysitting business Upon successful completion of the course, participants are awarded a Farmington Community Education Babysitter certificate. This certificate indicates that on the date of the class, our Community Education instructor verifies that the person met all of the course objectives and could demonstrate proficiency in the skills and topics covered in the class. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, and snacks.

For students entering grades 6 - 9 (26-27 school year) Lessons run for 8 weeks, June 9 - August 4, for $90.00. There are no lessons June 23. Students may select any 20 minute semi-private lesson slot. Sign up with friends or neighbors! If a private lesson is desired, please sign up for both spots in a timeslot. This includes students switching to a new instrument. Please have students bring the lesson book(s) they are currently using to lessons. Lessons with Mrs. Tara Michlitsch will take place at Dodge Middle School on Tuesdays. Basketball Camp Ages 6-9 DASH Sports basketball camps provide players a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camps ends with scrimmages/games on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided.

Basketball Tykes Camp Ages 2- 6 DASH Sports Basketball Tykes camps provide players an introductory experience to the great game of basketball through fun skill-based drills and mini-games. Players will be taught how to properly dribble, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group.

Eco Elsa Ages 9-15 Kids will take their fire skills to the next level by not only learning how to make fire and different fire structures but the science of using fire to cook things too! This class will teach all the basics like s’mores and tinfoil packets up to more advanced skills like dutch oven baking and spit roasting over the fire. Your campfire chefs will know how to make full course meals by the end of this class in addition to how to make a fire and manage it safely. We are working hard to have recipes for all dietary needs that are things kids will enjoy cooking and will be using a lot of raw and unprocessed ingredients and also have vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options for most of the recipes we make. Please let us know if your child has dietary needs beyond this and we will work with you to make alterations when possible!
