Brittany Hoppe Ages 7 years 6 months - 11 years Is your child ready to be home alone? Children should feel comfortable and safe when staying home alone, whether for an hour after school or several hours during the summer. Being trusted to stay home alone can be a positive experience for a child who is mature and well prepared. This class will address several topics relating to being home alone, including age guidelines, house rules, after school routines, activities they can do, safe habits, and more. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take home information and discuss it with their child after class. Please have your child bring a water bottle.

Intro to Medical Terminology Medical terminology is the first step to any career in the medical field or simply to understand your family’s medical visits. No prior experience is necessary. This highly specialized language involves word building with root words, prefixes, suffixes, and abbreviations. You will leave with a solid foundation of medical language, as well as basic medical billing and coding terminology. After submitting and passing the open-book exam included in the workbook you receive in class, you will earn a Certificate of Completion. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a fun and supportive program designed for parents and their children from birth through third grade. ECFE classes provide a welcoming and relaxed environment for families to connect, learn, and engage in thoughtful discussion with the guidance of a parent educator. Simultaneously, children will participate in developmentally appropriate activities across various domains, including art, literacy, mathematics, science, and gross motor skills. Kickball Club is an awesome afterschool activity where students come together to play kickball in a fun, organized setting. Different teams are selected each Thursday. Students will engage in team sportmanship and learn how to do the books! We will work on: Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Kids learn how to work together, take turns, and encourage one another. Physical Activity: Kickball gets everyone moving—it’s great exercise that improves coordination and fitness. Fun & Games: It’s a lighthearted, inclusive game that’s easy to learn and fun to play, even for beginners. In Kickball Club, students usually: Warm up with stretches or small games Practice basic skills like kicking, running bases, and fielding Play structured games in teams Rotate positions so everyone gets a chance to try different roles It’s a great way to build confidence, stay active, and make new friends!A Nut-Free snack may be provided on some dates.
