Competition Cheerleading – ELEMENTARY TEAMS 2026-2027Competition CheerCompetition Cheerleading - Elementary Cheer Teams Grades 2 - 6th - Fall 2026 | (Grades 1-5 - Fall 2025) The Elementary levels (Elementary Black and Elementary Orange) of competitive cheer focuses on establishing motion, jump, stunt and cheer technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. Teams will be based on ability and determined during Placement Week (July 20th - July 23rd). Teams will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels and within established competition rules. The teams will compete at local competitions from November through the end of January. Elementary Orange will also compete at The Forge in mid-February. Middle School Co-Ed Intramural Volleyball 2026Intramural SportsMiddle School Co-Ed Intramural Volleyball Grades 6-8 Farmington Community Education is offering this opportunity for girls and boys new to volleyball or those that are unable to participate in the interscholastic program (against other school). This intramural (In-House) volleyball program is for middle school girls and boys from Boeckman and Dodge middle schools. The purpose of intramurals is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for students of any skill level to participate in a variety of recreational activities. Participants will focus on the fundamentals of the game, enhance skills, discover the value and importance of good sportsmanship, and have fun. An adult coach will lead each session. Sessions will take place at Dodge Middle School from 4:00-5:30 pm. Boeckman Middle School students take the after school activity bus over to Dodge. The goal of the middle school interscholastic athletics is participation, involvement, and development of skills beneficial for future success. These skills include Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Cooperation, Loyalty, Goal Setting, Work Ethic, Organization, Self-Discipline, Perseverance, and of course Sportsmanship. Adults lead practices and coach at matches. Practices will take place at the tennis courts at Boeckman Middle School from 4:00-5:30 pm. Dodge Middle School students take the after school activity bus over to Boeckman. Home matches will take place at the tennis courts at Boeckman Middle School. Usually "home" matches will start between 4:15 and 4:30 and take about an hour and a half. Away matches may start as early as 4:15 or as late as 4:30 and takes about an hour and a half.
