Parkour 2ParkourAges 5-14 years old Parkour 2 is for those that have tested out of parkour 1, or have been assessed by a coach. GYMNASTICS-ToddlersPre-K GymnasticsToddlers (ages 18 mo – 3 years w/parental participation – 45 mins) This is a great class for introducing basic movement skills in a fun and age – appropriate environment. Gymnasts will work through a series of stations and coordination building skills in each class. Focus is on motor skills, listening and taking turns in a stimulating environment. One adult per child will participate in the class and assist the child in following the teacher’s instructions. GYMNASTICS-Beginner 2Progressive RecBeginner 2 (ages 5 and up – 55 mins) Beginner 2 is for gymnasts who have tested out of Beginner 1 class or have been evaluated at this level. This class involves the introduction of basic gymnastics skills on all four apparatus: vault, bars, beam and floor. Tumble Track is also incorporated to teach jumps as well. An example of skills introduced are forward and backward rolls, handstands on floor, glide swings on bars, forward and backward walks and straight jumps on beam. GYMNASTICS-Advanced BeginnerProgressive Rec*YOU MUST HAVE TESTED OUT OF BEGINNER 2, or HAVE A COACH EVALUATION TO BE IN THIS COURSE Beginner 2 is a PREREQUISITE for this course! Advanced Beginner (ages 5 and up – 55 mins) This class is for gymnasts who have tested out of the Beginner 2 class or have been evaluated at this level. Gymnasts will learn more difficult basic skills on all four apparatuses as well as continue to gain strength and confidence on full sized equipment. GYMNASTICS-Intermediate 1Progressive RecIntermediate 1 & 2 (ages 5 and up – 70 mins) This class is for gymnasts who have tested out of Advanced Beginner or Intermediate 1 and have been evaluated at this level. This class also utilizes all four apparatus and trampoline. Gymnasts will continue to perfect the skills introduced to them in Advanced Beginner and Intermediate 1. They will also begin working on round–offs, bridge kick-overs as well as moving their basic floor skills to the low and medium balance beams. GYMNASTICS-Intermediate 2Progressive RecIntermediate 2 (TEAM PREP) (ages 5 and up – 85 mins) This class is for gymnasts who have tested out of Intermediate 1 or have been evaluated at this level. Gymnasts will work on perfecting skills they have learned in Intermediate 1, while also learning new skills, such as double back hip circles, jumping to the high bar, and cartwheels on the beam. This level is designed to prepare gymnasts for our competitive TEAM program. This hands-on clinic is designed for gymnasts and their parents to learn fundamental spotting techniques in a safe, supervised environment. Coaches will demonstrate proper body positioning, communication, and spotting methods for age-appropriate gymnastics skills, while emphasizing safety, trust, and injury prevention. Participants will also learn how to support skill development at home without replacing professional coaching. No previous spotting experience is required, just a willingness to learn and have fun together! Perfect for: Parents of recreational (Advanced beginner and above) and competitive gymnasts, and athletes who want to build confidence while practicing safe progressions. Rec TEAM GymnasticsDevelopmental/TeamRec TEAM Gymnastics Rec TEAM Gymnastics is offered two days per week for 1 hour 30 minutes per session, providing a total of three hours of instruction weekly. This program is designed to give young athletes a structured introduction to a competitive-style gymnastics environment while maintaining a fun, age-appropriate, and supportive atmosphere. The class offers a “taste” of team training without the pressure of competitions. Athletes will focus on developing fundamental gymnastics skills while improving strength, coordination, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, safe skill progression, and confidence building. Parkour 3ParkourAges 5-14 years old In Parkour 3 we will be learning a combination of Parkour, gymnastics, free-running, calisthenics and conditioning with a higher focus on skill building then prior Parkour classes. Parkour 3 will focus on more advanced skills that will push our athletes physical skill and mental focus. We will be learning skills such as the kong vault, dash vault, wall spin, macaco, kip up, front tuck and many more.
