Campers will go on a journey of discovery and learn about nature’s most undesirable creatures. They will learn about creatures that are often thought of as pests, but really are beneficial to our environment. Weather permitting, campers will get ‘back to nature’ by venturing outside making their own observations and discoveries just like a naturalist! Family Felting Fun!Parent/Child ClassesAre you looking for that perfect gift for special someone? In this class, students will learn about the ancient craft of wet felting and its uses. Students will create an ornament to keep or give away as a gift. Soap and water are used during the process of wet felting, so creating may get a little messy. Natural animal wools that contain lanolin may be used and could cause itchiness to some individuals. Project supplies will be provided. Felting is a great activity you can do with your family!
