DASH Track and Field Camp
DASH Sports Grades K-5 DASH Sports Track & Field camp provides participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes. DASH Sports is a local, MN sports training company whose mission is to: "Offer communities and families well organized, structured, and fun skill-based sports programs for kids." Led by people with a passion for youth sports development with over 25,000 hours of coaching experience. -

Dakota County 4-H Dog Training for Youth
Dakota County 4-H Explorer Nature's Superheroes Join Dakota County 4-H for fun, affordable, day camp experiences. Camps are for youth currently enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade. Dakota County 4-H is part of the University of Minnesota’s Extension Youth Development program. Registering for camp will include enrollment in 4-H, for liability purposes, with no other commitments or fees beyond the event. Train your dog in disciplines like obedience, tricks, agility, and more with the support of trainers that will help your child and canine companion succeed. Train in all the areas or just the ones that interest you. Many of our trainers have over 25 years of experience in dog training, showing, and judging. Youth have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned at the end of season dog show in July. if you have questions about this program. Note your family will be enrolled in 4-H for liability purposes but no other fees or commitments are required. An adult is required to stay onsite for supervision and support with equipment set-up/takedown. Dog Requirements: Must be 12 months old to participate in training. Choose a character, learn music and choreography and create your own musical. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided. Campers will go on a journey of discovery and learn about nature’s most undesirable creatures. They will learn about creatures that are often thought of as pests, but really are beneficial to our environment. Weather permitting, campers will get ‘back to nature’ by venturing outside making their own observations and discoveries just like a naturalist! Campfire Cooking
Eco Elsa Ages 9-15 Kids will take their fire skills to the next level by not only learning how to make fire and different fire structures but the science of using fire to cook things too! This class will teach all the basics like s’mores and tinfoil packets up to more advanced skills like dutch oven baking and spit roasting over the fire. Your campfire chefs will know how to make full course meals by the end of this class in addition to how to make a fire and manage it safely. Additionally, if your site allows it and there are things in season we may also do some foraging for some of the recipes too! We are working hard to have recipes for all dietary needs that are things kids will enjoy cooking and will be using a lot of raw and unprocessed ingredients and also have vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options for most of the recipes we make. Please let us know if your child has dietary needs beyond this and we will work with you to make alterations when possible! (ages 9+) -

Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-8 Get ready for an exciting class filled with new builds and challenges! Students will take their engineering skills to the next level by constructing remote-controlled robots inspired by the popular Discovery Channel show BattleBots. Using LEGO® Robotics systems and specialized Technic™ engineering components, they’ll build extreme machines designed for competition. Working in small teams of two to three, students will test, re-engineer, and morph their robots to become better, stronger, and faster before entering them into a high-energy tournament on the final day. -

Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 Design, develop, and create 3D virtual reality environments and characters to build your own VR games. Students will start with smaller projects to learn the basics of coding, design, and interaction. In the final two days, they will construct a full labyrinth complete with challenges, characters, and immersive exploration. This camp is ideal for students passionate about technology and creativity. VR projects can be viewed on most mobile devices and VR systems such as Oculus.
