Extreme Robotics: Robo-Wars
Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-8 Get ready for an exciting class filled with new builds and challenges! Students will take their engineering skills to the next level by constructing remote-controlled robots inspired by the popular Discovery Channel show BattleBots. Using LEGO® Robotics systems and specialized Technic™ engineering components, they’ll build extreme machines designed for competition. Working in small teams of two to three, students will test, re-engineer, and morph their robots to become better, stronger, and faster before entering them into a high-energy tournament on the final day. -
Escape the Labyrinth: VR Game Development
Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 Design, develop, and create 3D virtual reality environments and characters to build your own VR games. Students will start with smaller projects to learn the basics of coding, design, and interaction. In the final two days, they will construct a full labyrinth complete with challenges, characters, and immersive exploration. This camp is ideal for students passionate about technology and creativity. VR projects can be viewed on most mobile devices and VR systems such as Oculus. Bring a USB on the last day to save your games. -
DASH Multi-Sport & Games Camp
DASH Sports Ages 6-12 Multi-Sport (SC, FF, BK) DASH Sports Summer Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports so athletes will come out of camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle, snack and wear athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided. -
DASH Track and Field Camp
DASH Sports Ages 6-12 DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes. -

Zoo Animal Camp
Tracy Crofoot Grades K-5 Zoo Animal camp is a great summer activity for your animal enthusiast! Campers will go on a journey of discovery and learn about zoo animals by a former zoo keeper. They will learn about animal diets, habitats, and enrichment. Weather permitting, campers will get ‘back to nature’ by venturing outside making their own observations and discoveries just like a real zoologist! DASH Sports Ages 6-12 DASH Sports Jr. NBA basketball skills camps provide players a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camps end with scrimmages/games on the final day. Minecraft Survival Camp: Defeat the Ender Dragon
Tech Academy Incoming Grades 2-6 Embark on the ultimate Minecraft adventure! In this camp, students will team up in our multiplayer survival world to explore, gather resources, and take on epic challenges. Each day, campers will use different survival skills, crafting tools, mining for materials, brewing potions, enchanting gear, and preparing for battle. Along the way, they’ll practice defeating mobs, complete quests, and discover the secrets of the Nether Then, jump into world-building with ready-made worlds and landscapes to set the stage. Add unique powers, creative challenges, cutscenes and epic boss encounters to craft a game full of excitement and imagination. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. DASH Sports Ages 6-12 Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Summer Pickleball camps provide participants with an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. 3D Printing: Nintendo-Themed Characters
Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 Bring your favorite video game worlds to life by creating Nintendo-inspired characters with TinkerCAD while learning essential 3D design skills. Students will model unique creations in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and transform their digital ideas into real objects using 3D printers. While prints are finishing, campers can join Nintendo-themed challenges and even design their own video games inspired by the characters they love. MLS GO Soccer Mini-League
DASH Sports Ages 6-12 DASH Sports MLS GO Summer Soccer Mini-Leagues provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense) training and scrimmages and games. This camp consists of one day of skills training followed by 3 days of games (2 per day for a total of 6 games). Athletes should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided. We will also go over refining your audio using Audacity. Edit your video, add transitions, and insert a soundtrack. Then, share your finished video with the world. Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 Get ready for a week of building, coding, and competing! This camp combines the creativity of the LEGO building system with the excitement of robotics. Students will team up in groups of two to three to design and build their own LEGO robots, bring them to life with block-based programming, and take on daily challenges that inspire teamwork and problem solving. Students will build learning models to understand key robotics concepts, then customize and modify their design to take on new challenges. From fun mini-missions to final competitions, including target-hitting games and an action-packed robot sumo battle, every day is packed with hands-on learning and excitement. Destination Mars: Rocketry Course
Youth Enrichment League {YEL!} Incoming Grades 2-5 Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. Machine Sewing
Diana Berg Incoming Grades 1-8 Come and learn new skills with your sewing machine! In this camp, youth will learn how to use a sewing machine to complete a standard size pillowcase, then they will use a pattern to create their very own pair of lounge pants, then the final project will cumulate with a letter pillow.
