NewKickball Club!Sparks After School ClubsKickball Club is an awesome afterschool activity where students come together to play kickball in a fun, organized setting. Different teams are selected each Thursday. Students will engage in team sportmanship and learn how to do the books! We will work on: Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Kids learn how to work together, take turns, and encourage one another. Physical Activity: Kickball gets everyone moving—it’s great exercise that improves coordination and fitness. Fun & Games: It’s a lighthearted, inclusive game that’s easy to learn and fun to play, even for beginners. In Kickball Club, students usually: Warm up with stretches or small games Practice basic skills like kicking, running bases, and fielding Play structured games in teams Rotate positions so everyone gets a chance to try different roles It’s a great way to build confidence, stay active, and make new friends!A Nut-Free snack may be provided on some dates.2026/2027 CE Catalog -
NewArt ExplorersSparks After School ClubsYoung Rembrandts Kick off the school year with a creative adventure in drawing! In this session, students explore a variety of engaging subjects while learning important artistic techniques such as proportion, texture, shading, and pattern. Young artists will enjoy creating a delicious Pizza drawing while practicing detail and composition. An adorable Baby Sloth introduces character design and expressive faces, while our portrait of Hiawatha offers an opportunity to explore art history and cultural storytelling through drawing. NewDrum ClubSparks After School ClubsDrum Club is open for Farmington Elementary 4th-5th graders only. Drum Club will allow students to explore drumming and other percussion instruments, improve music reading skills, learn music of various cultures, interpret music through expression, and have a blast drumming! The final Drum Club practice will include a parent preview. Sarah Anderson teaches K-5 general music at Farmington Elementary. She has been teaching for 14 years, 8 at FES. Sarah has her Master of Arts in music education from the University of St. Thomas, and she has a passion for drumming and world music.2026/2027 CE Catalog
